Hawaii hotels are plentiful and that means there's a hotel here in Hawaii that will meet your every requirement from the ambiance and features to just about whatever your budget might be!

If money's no object, you don't really need much help finding a Hawaii hotel to fit your needs. However, for most of us, finding something to satisfy both our vacation preferences and our pocketbooks does require a little more investigation.

In addition to traveling off season and looking for those bargain air fares, you can treat yourself to some great vacations for much cheaper than you thought possible by being a bit creative!

One way is to start looking for hotels that aren't that popular... like a bit farther from the beach than you'd originally try for. However, if you come to Hawaii during the off season, you can get a beachfront hotel at a pretty reasonable cost - and having the sound of waves lull you to sleep and waken you in the morning is something pretty hard to beat!

Waikiki hotels offer the beach scene with all of the shopping and night life you could imagine while the neighbor island hotels offer more peaceful and less crowded settings. If you've got a few women to please like I have in my family, you might go for a few nights in a "quiet" setting and another couple of nights on the Waikiki strip - after all, families can't live on fishing alone, right?
